SCIENCE COMMUNICATION
I live in a world where feeling comes first, and the way we explain complex science has to account for that...
What I know is that within the communication of Science as it grows and improves for an audience of ‘normal people,’ there have to be spaces and storylines made and reserved for heartbreak, exasperation, mourning, and brokenness. There has to be space for the ‘existential crises’ to be screamed about - because they occupy the space in people’s hearts and minds and struggles, oftentimes with a heavier weight than facts or figures or legal decisions or rules. The personal pain and fear and anger we feel - maybe, just maybe... can be met with the same love that healing the future of the planet should be made of.
