'When someone is worth knowing me'
You are indigo
Just like me
Wikipedia will tell you what
astrology might
in an attempt to turn a
cosmic mistake into a trope
The color we glow fits into
And while it is an attempt
It is not quite
You are indigo
And patient with a nervousness
That can only be understood
By empathy
And know
As I do
You are indigo
As the curiosity that moves the
Tide tables in
And out
And clear as the salt water
Flowing down cheeks
In vulnerable failure
That you know as
A feeling before
An imposition to get through
Like everything else
When we were born
The color of the room
Turned the deep blue of
The ones who listen
Closely
Always
For the hum of a similar hue
Nearby
You are indigo
Just like me
We could tell between stacks
Of published platitudes
That the hum of the blue hue
Was nearby
And for that I am you
You are me
We are a deep blue we
Floating through the
Incompletely defined
In wait of the next wave of
Our indigo sea
You are indigo
Just like me
Speaking to a sea of
ROY G B - V
And me
Of the studied tried and true
Ways to be a chameleon
In a life aquatic
That speaks only in a dense grey
Foggy eb
And flow
You are indigo
Just Like me
Smelling a sunrise
Coming tomorrow and tasting
The rain drops like it
Was yesterday
The night when a dark green
Broke our blue black skies
And flushed my cheeks
The feeling of an electric
Shock of only hurt
In low tide and a long way from
Anything
You are indigo
Just like me
So I’ll be seeing you in
The depths of the lake
Where the dark loud silent
Whispers and anthem of a me
that is you
and a drifting school of
Thought full of you
That is indigo
like me
